Each jar has at least 14 oz (397g) of ghee inside. Refrigeration is recommended but not required. The shelf life at room temperature is up to 6 months and up to 1 year refrigerated. Suggested uses of ghee include: anything you cook in a cast iron or stainless steel pan (ditch the Teflon), roasted vegetables or potatoes, and even seasoning your cast iron.
